Central into the community of Washington University, the Danforth University Center (DUC) sits in the center of the Danforth Campus providing areas to “find your center.” The DUC is supported and handled by Campus lifestyle staff and it is a fundamental aspect of their eyesight of empowering students to be better people, making better communities.

Building History

Known as in honor of Chancellor Emeritus William H. Danforth and also the Elizabeth that is late() Gray Danforth, the DUC is a hub of pupil and faculty participation, dining and leisure.

The three-story building had been built totally when you look at the collegiate Gothic design by architecture company Tsoi/Kobus & Associates.

The building had been committed on April 17, 2009 and contains been a main gathering destination on campus from the time.
